ABOUT OUR VIRTUAL KWB SUMMIT

Theme:听Exploring Scholarship, Society, and Change

The 2025 Knowledge Without Boundaries Summit, themed 鈥淓xploring Scholarship, Society, and Change,鈥 is set to be a groundbreaking virtual event delving into the pivotal role that the scholarship of research plays in shaping society and driving meaningful change. This summit seeks to foster a dynamic collaboration, bringing together scholar-practitioners, subject matter experts, and other thought leaders from the various disciplines to critically examine how education, research, and intellectual engagement can address pressing societal challenges. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, participants will explore the transformative prospects of research, highlighting innovative approaches and successful collaborations where specific research highlighted might have a notable positive impact on communities.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in rich dialogues on interdisciplinary and complex data-driven strategies for understanding, and assessing change needed for addressing the broader societal issues and challenges. The summit aims to empower participants with new tools, strategies, and perspectives to enhance their knowledge, drive further research and extend its application in real-world contexts. By fostering collaboration between academia and communities, the event seeks to inspire and equip scholars to contribute to societal transformation, ultimately adding to the potentials of the world around us.

This Summit seeks to:

  • Highlight the transformative potential of scholarship in fostering change.

  • Explore interdisciplinary and cross-cultural approaches to addressing societal challenges.

  • Foster collaboration between academia and communities to address real-world issues.听

  • Encourage critical discussions on the ethical dimensions of research and scholarship.

  • Empower participants with new tools, strategies, and perspectives for creating meaningful societal impact.

KWB Summit/New Platform

For the 2025 KWB Summit, we will be using an updated version of Zoom. The new Zoom platform will allow for a very streamlined conference presentation, where participants can actually view their schedules, register for the event within the same platform, and revisit earlier in the day recordings of all sessions. Look for more information on this addition to the Summit coming soon.
