Important Ceremony Day Information
Everyone is invited to celebrate our graduates at the Virtual Commencement, which is streamed on YouTube. If you鈥檇 like to access the comment feature during the ceremony, you鈥檒l need a YouTube account.聽See YouTube links above for watching the ceremony.
- Commencement聽videos will be available for viewing聽up to 30 days after聽the ceremony.
- The personalized slides will be displayed alphabetically (by last name) by鈥痙egree鈥痩evel鈥痗onferral (Associates, Bachelors, Masters & Doctoral) for each ceremony.
- Watch the聽countdown聽timer on the聽commencement ceremony video聽to see what degree level name slides are next聽to help gauge when you鈥檒l be featured.
- You won't be shown live during the ceremony but your personalized slide will be.
How to participate
1. Register online
REGISTRATION CLOSES March 19
- () and log into your My Phoenix account
- Review Eligibility Requirements and if eligible to walk select the red View registration button
- Select View Schedule and Register
- Select your graduating program
- Select the preferred virtual commencement ceremony time.
- 10:00 am AZ/PDT (7 am HST, 11 am MDT, 12 pm CDT, 1 pm EDT)
- 1:30 pm AZ/PDT (10:30 am HST, 2:30 pm MDT, 3:30 pm CDT, 4:30 pm EDT)
- Complete registration. (After you successfully register, you鈥檒l receive a confirmation email.)
- Late registrations cannot be accommodated due to the production schedule for this ceremony.
- Friends and family are not required to register. Just you!
2. Personalize your name slide
Please note, all registered graduates will have a slide with their name and degree announced during the commencement.
After your reach the confirmation page while registering you will find a link to Additional Info for your ceremony. In there you will find a link to submit your photos and message. Submit one picture and one message or favorite quote,聽to be featured on your personalized name slide, which will be displayed when your name is read. Also, you can share how you want your name pronounced.
If you鈥檙e not planning to wear regalia, be sure to dress professionally to look your best for your photo.
If you cannot provide a photo and/or message鈥痓y the deadline date, please know there will still be a slide with your name,鈥痙egree鈥痑nd name announcement for the ceremony.

3. Share content for the celebration video
(Optional, this聽is separate from your personalized name slide. Please be sure to upload your photo for the ceremony slide before this submission.)

We encourage graduates to submit their own celebratory moments for a chance to be part of our graduate video!
These submissions can include graduation parties, pictures with family, impromptu dancing or celebration, walking across a makeshift stage, hat and gown portraits, throwing hats in the air, tassel moves, etc. Landscape/horizontal orientation is preferred if possible. Please avoid sending content that includes added graphics, captions, or video transitions.
Upload your photos and/or video to for a chance to be part of our graduate video! Only 70 to 100 photos will be chosen for this video from all the submissions.聽

How to order regalia (optional)
Although regalia is not required, if you want to order a set for pictures or memorabilia, you can do so through聽聽(select 鈥渧irtual鈥 from the dropdown menu).聽Military graduates can also order a military cord.
If you want to have regalia in time for your personalized slide photo, you must order by these dates:
- Standard Shipping to have in time for photo: February 22, 2026
- Expedited 2-day shipping to have in time for photo: March 1, 2026
- Standard Shipping to have by graduation day: April 5, 2026
- Expedited 2-day shipping to have by graduation day: April 12, 2026
- For Doctoral Grads to have by graduation day: March 6, 2026

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you are welcome to participate in both.
It鈥檚 easy. When they become available, send them the direct commencement link to the virtual commencement you registered for prior to the ceremony. Commencements will be available for viewing up to 30 days after the ceremony.
No. Graduates will not be on camera and therefore no camera is required. However, everyone is encouraged to post celebratory comments in the chat window throughout the ceremony, which is viewable to all.
Regalia is not required, but some students might want to order a set for pictures or memorabilia. If so, you can do so聽.聽Military graduates can also order a military cord. If you want to have regalia in time for your personalized slide photo, you must order by these dates:
